Godfrey One-Step Search

A new search engine has been developed
solely for Godfrey Subscribers.

If you are accessing this page from a
Family History Center, please click here.

If this is your first visit to this page,
please read the following information,
then click the link below to start searching
Godfrey Premium Databases in one step!

Here's How It Works:

This search engine is designed to simplify your searching. By entering your search term into Godfrey's One Step Search Engine all of the Godfrey Premium Databases will be searched at one time and a results list will appear. Clicking on any result will cause a new window or new tab to open with the database results inside, which you may click to view.

There are two ways to access the new Godfrey Search. First log in to your subscription and click on the Godfrey Search folder or click on the link below to go to the One Step Search page. There you will enter your Godfrey barcode number and password, then your desired search term. For example, you may enter a surname such as "Presley." You many also enter your search as two words such as "Elvis Presley." Search terms can be whatever is accepted by the underlying database search engines. If you are searching for an exact phrase, put it in quotes, just as when you search the database directly.
